We recommend contacting us soon after your first trimester scan to secure your preferred due-date window; however, we will always try to accommodate late enquiries. Early booking allows time for multiple prenatal sessions, personalised birth planning and relationship building, which enhances trust and comfort on the big day. Yes. Virtual packages include scheduled video consultations, 24/7 text or phone guidance during early labour, real-time coaching through active labour, and detailed postpartum check-ins. We supply digital resources such as breathing tutorials, partner cheat-sheets and relaxation playlists. Virtual care is ideal if geographical distance, hospital restrictions or personal preference limit in-person attendance, yet you still want professional support rooted in compassion and evidence-based practice.

Absolutely not. We enhance, rather than replace, the support offered by partners, family or friends. By coaching them on effective comfort measures, suggesting rest breaks and explaining medical updates, we help loved ones feel confident and involved. Our presence allows partners to participate meaningfully without carrying the entire emotional load, creating a cooperative, loving atmosphere where everyone—especially the birthing mother—feels supported.

We collaborate with professional interpreters or bilingual team members when available to ensure clear, respectful communication. Prior to birth we translate key documents, discuss culturally significant practices and craft a concise preference sheet in both languages. During labour we use simple, universally understood cues, illustrated guides and, where possible, your chosen interpreter to guarantee you always understand options and give informed consent.

Some private insurers and health-sharing plans reimburse doula fees under wellness or maternity support categories; we provide detailed invoices and supporting documentation to facilitate claims. We also accept Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account payments. Utah Medicaid currently does not include doulas, but advocacy efforts continue. Packages start at £800 and scale according to the number of prenatal visits, birth setting and postpartum hours required. Each package includes an initial consultation, on-call availability from 38 weeks, continuous labour support, immediate postpartum assistance and one follow-up visit. Optional add-ons—such as extended postpartum care, sibling preparation or childbirth classes—can be bundled for reduced rates. A 25-percent deposit reserves your due-date window.
